Buttons Help
The navigational buttons
allow you to move to all the sections of training.

The
Close (X) button allows you to exit the CD-ROM. This button is available throughout the program.

The
Exhibit button displays a small,
movable window that contains a graphic to
help you answer the corresponding test question.
These graphics are not available on all test
questions. When you
click on the Exhibit icon at the bottom of the screen, a window
appears with a graphic pertaining to the current question. Move
the window to view the entire question. Close the
exhibit window by clicking the Exhibit button again
or clicking the graphic in the window.

The
Glossary button displays an alphabetical list of terms relavent to the subject of the CD-ROM.
Click a term to display the definition. Click the Glossary button again
to close the glossary window.

|
The
Help (?) button opens a set of
web pages that provide detailed information on using
the CD-ROM. This button is available throughout the program.
|
|
The
Hint button displays a small,
movable window that contains a hint to
help you answer the corresponding test question.
Hints are not available on all test questions. Close the
hint window by clicking the Hint button again
or clicking the Close (X) button on the
window. This feature is available in Pre-Test
and in Labs.

|
The
Index button displays an index of the CD-ROM. Each section of the CD-ROM
is organized into topics and subtopics. Click any topic to go directly to its training.
Click the Index button again to close the window.
|
|
The
InterACT button presents a pop-up window with additional training references.
|
|
The
Item Review button returns you to the
Item
Review page, which displays
the answer(s) you submitted for each question. This
button only appears after you have completed the entire test.

|
The
Coach button displays a list of interactive training. The labs
include thorough, step-by-step exercises and a variety of learning tools.
Click the Coach button again to close the labs window.

|
The
Main button returns you to the Main
Menu page.
|
|
The
Mark Question button in the upper left-hand corner of
the pre-test or post-test screen allows you to bookmark the current question for
later review in the Item
Review page.
A check mark is placed in the box to
indicate that it has been activated. Click the button again to unmark
the question.

|
The
Minimize (-) button shrinks the window
to an icon and title bar on your Windows taskbar.
Clicking the icon on the Windows taskbar restores the window. This button is available throughout the program.

|
The
Next button advances you to the next question in
the exam. If you are at the end of the exam, it advances you to the
Item
Review Page.
|
|
The
Pause button pauses the current video. Click the pause button again or the play button to
resume the video.
|
|
The
Play button plays the current video after it has been paused. When the play button
is clicked more than once it advances you through all of the subcomponents of that module.
|
|
The
Previous button returns you to the previous
question on the exam to review or change your
answers. It does not appear on the first exam question.
|
|
The
Report button displays a report that helps you assess your
training. The report shows your current score and progress on
the test. To continue the exam, click the Report
button again or click the
Return to Test button.
|
|
The
Reference button displays a small,
movable window that refers to the video
portion of the CD-ROM that contains the answer. To view the reference, click the
Main button, click the Index
button, and then click the corresponding link. Close the
reference window by clicking the Reference
button again or clicking the Close (X) button
on the window.

|
The
Stop button stops playback of all movies.
|
|
The
Steps button displays a small window that guides you to the correct
test answer
by showing you the appropriate
steps. Steps are not available on all test questions. This feature is available in the
Pre-Test and Lab
questions only.

You
can move the window on your screen by dragging
the background area of the window to any location on your screen.
This feature can be used anywhere in
the program.
